ARP Early Career and Diversity Awards for 2020

02-12-2020

The Association for Research in Personality is happy to announce a special version of the Early Career and Diversity Awards for 2020 to support the professional development of early-career researchers and/or researchers from historically marginalized communities. These communities include but are not limited to, ethnic and racial minorities, LGBTQ2 students, first-generation college students, and students with a disability/special needs. Many thanks to Hogan Assessment Systems for their financial support of these awards.

We will fund professional development opportunities up to $300 that include (but are not limited to) conference registration fees, and methods or statistics workshop registration fees. These payments can be made in advance or as reimbursement and can include multiple conferences or workshop registration fees up to $300.

While priority will be given to early-career researchers and/or individuals who identify as members of one or more historically marginalized groups noted above, we will also consider funding participation in diversity training workshops by all researchers, including individuals who are not from historically marginalized communities.

In addition to the award, we will waive the 2021-2022 ARP membership fee for the awardees.

Please click here to complete the award application by January, 3rd 2021 to be considered.
